Account Security & Two-Factor Authentication

SANAD OS supports Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) using any standard authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Authy, etc.) — a real, second layer of protection on top of your password.

Enabling 2FA

  1. Click Settings in the sidebar.
  2. Under Two-Factor Authentication, click Enable Two-Factor Auth.
  3. A QR code appears. Open your authenticator app and scan it (or enter the text code shown below the QR code manually if you can't scan).
  4. Your app now shows a rotating 6-digit code. Enter it into the field on screen.
  5. Click Confirm & Enable.

Once enabled, the panel shows Enabled with a green checkmark.

Signing in with 2FA active

After entering your password on future sign-ins, you'll be asked for your 6-digit authenticator code on a separate screen before you reach your dashboard. Enter the current code from your app and click Verify.

If you enter an incorrect code, you'll see an error and can try again — there's also a sign-out option on that screen if you need to start over.

Disabling 2FA

Return to Settings and click Disable next to your active factor.

A note on lost devices

If you lose access to your authenticator app, you won't be able to complete sign-in through the normal 2FA challenge screen. Recovery codes for this scenario are on the roadmap but not yet available — use the "Need help? Contact support" link on the login page to reach arranto support directly for account recovery.
